SUMMER FUN!!

Hello from Rutledge Hall. It has been a busy several weeks since the students left. Ms. Vecchione and I are busy in the office winding down from last year and beginning to plan and work on new things for next year. Here are a few things you should know:

• Summer school has begun. Classes are held daily from 8:30-12:30. We have quite a variety of classes and it has been nice to see many of our students in attendance.
• The office is open during summer school hours. Ms. Vecchione and I can assist you with questions you may have.
• There is still time to complete the bus reimbursement form in the office.
• I have started to receive summer reading post cards. Let’s see if we can achieve the goal of every student reading at least one book over the summer.
• We have begun to plan curriculum and instruction for next year. Teachers are working on a variety of summer work teams.
• I will be updating the Rutledge calendar shortly. Please check this out if you are doing any planning for next year.

Believe it or not, summer is a busy time for us at school. There is much to prepare for the upcoming school year.

The weather has certainly gone from cool to hot very quickly. I hope that you can take time to enjoy the pool, the museum, the library, or any destination of your choosing with your family.
