Fall has started. The fifth graders are completing their Dancing Calacas’ for the Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico. In Mexico children make these for each other to play with and it is true. They do like to play with them as they finish. They will be on display as soon as a few more classes finish.
Fourth graders have started drawing their own shoes this week. We are drawing gym shoes for our next project so it is necessary to wear them to school on the day they have art for the next two weeks. At first we will be getting comfortable with drawing the gym shoes, and then we will finish by adding color in warm and cool color patterns.
Third graders are working on their fall tree collages. We are adding at tree on top of our fall color collage that we made last week. These will be brightening our hallways soon.
