Next Tuesday, March 9, we will have another quiz in Force and Motion. This quiz will cover lessons 5-8, which are wheels through pulleys. The children should have their two-column notes and packet to study. Our final test will be on March 25, before spring break. I will be putting a PowerPoint review and study guide sheet on my blog as that day approaches.

Next week, the children will be practicing various questions in preparation for the reading, math, and writing sessions on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test. The ISAT test will be given on the mornings of March 2, 3, 4, and 5 for third grade. Please make sure your child goes to bed early and eats a healthy breakfast during these days. A note will also go home about a snack I like to prepare for the kids in between each reading and math session. I would like everyone to contribute to the class snack. Please be on the lookout for that note.
