Looking up words in a traditional dictionary can be difficult for young learners. Traditional dictionaries typically use complex language to define words and lack adequate examples. This can further confuse students. Try using more kid friendly references like:

Easy: Tell two or more definitions for each word.
Harder: Try using both meanings is the same sentence (ex: I swung at the flying bat with a baseball bat). Remember: The Multiple Meanings may be an ACTION (something you do) or a THING (person/place/thing).
