Northwest CASA Visit

This week representatives from Northest CASA paid a visit to our third grade classrooms. Children were given information about what constitutes a safe touch or unsafe touch as a part of our third grade health curriculum. The discussion included tips on how children can stand up for themselves and be assertive in a variety of situations.

I encourage third grade parents to discuss these presentations with their children. Children in all grade levels would benefit from talking with their parents about personal body safety.
