WOW! Can you believe we only have less than three weeks left of school! We have many fun things coming up and they are privileges so please make certain your student is staying on top of homework and remaining focused for these last couple weeks of school!

Hello families,

As the weather gets warmer remember to send kids with appropriate shoes for gym and play. For the safety of the students please NO Flip flops/sandals etc... This is part of the student handbook and it is for their safety. Additionally, we still have plenty of material to cover in class. Remind your child that they need to stay focused on schoolwork despite the nice weather!

Hello Familes,

First, let me start by saying great job to all the students on their performance at the music concert last week! They worked hard and it showed. Thank you also to Mrs. Carlberg who works even harder!! What a lucky bunch we are to have her running our music program!

A couple things coming up:

FIELD TRIP TOMORROW (Wed) to the Adler Planetarium. Chaperones please be here by 8:45 so we can depart by 9:00. Students reviewed field trip behavior this morning so they should know exactly how to behave tomorrow. PLEASE REMEMBER SACK LUNCH!

We are going to the Adler Planetarium on April 21. There is an 11-dollar fee. Please send back a signed slip with the fee as soon as possible. If you would like to volunteer to chaperone please do so. I will let you know with a note home if I need your help. Thank you in advance.

Math: We finished up unit 7 and starting unit 8 next week. We are starting fractions!! I will be giving a few "quizes" to check for understanding as we work through this unit. I hope you student likes this unit as much as I do!!!
