Math: We are working on fraction operations. Students are applying their knowledge of fractions to solve different word problems. We took a quiz today in which the students did very well.

Reading: We completed reading Elena in our textbooks. The reading skill in this selection was story mapping. In novel groups, we continue to read and discuss The Cay.

Social Studies: We are moving West. Students are learning about technological advances that helped settlers move onto the Great Plains. There will be a Chapter 7 test next Wednesday 19th.

As part of a science unit project, students have been researching and preparing an imovie presentation on specific arthropods. Below you will find the completed projects. Please take a few minutes and check out these presentations.
