Hello Families:

ISAT testing for Reading and Math is finished.  Fifth graders will be taking the writing portion on Tuesday.  I really feel students have been well prepared and confident taking each session.  The format of the test and the content is covered in our curriculum, so students were ready.  The state will be scoring the tests and hopefully returning the scores before the end of the school year (at least that is the plan).  Scores are mailed to the school and then they are mailed to the parents of each student.

Dear Families:

I hope you all were able to share and create special memories with your loved ones on Thanksgiving!  My family spent the evening at my brother's home and we all brought food to share.  I made sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, and carrot cake!  (I love to bake and I feel I never have enough time to do so.)  My parents, both of my brothers and their families, along with my brothers' sets of in-laws were able to be together.  The cousins bonded and the adults ate, ate, and ate some more!  My four year old was thankful for "being able to play hockey."  It was very cute!
