Dear Parents:
On the evening of Monday, March 22, my class will hold a Portfolio Night. During this evening, your child will show you the work they have collected and reflected upon throughout the year, and explain how they feels about their learning.
On this evening, we will hold three one hour-long sessions, the first from 3:00-4:00pm, the second from 4:00-5:00 p.m., and the third from 6:00-7:00 p.m. This arrangement will secure that there is plenty of space in the classroom for parents to sit with their children and spread out the contents of the portfolio. It is an opportunity for your fifth grader to explain to you the preparation and process behind his/her work. Because space is limited and concentration is important, please make other arrangements for siblings during your Portfolio Night.
Please make sure you send back the sign up form as quickly as possible so I can schedule all families accordingly.
