We have had a great year at Rutledge. I can't believe that the year is almost over. Thank you to all the students in my classes for working so hard. I have seen a lot of progress in Reading Fluency and Math this year.

Next year, I will be at Lincoln Hall teaching the sixth, seven, and eighth graders. I enjoyed teaching at Rutledge the last three years.

Today is our Field Day at Rutledge and Friday will be the fourth grade picnic at Proesel Park. Monday will be the fifth graders picnic.

Have a great summer! Rest, relax and read this summer!

The challenge Spelling/Vocabulary list is: member, twelve, mistake, complain, cute, phrase, vacation, donkey, meal, average, compromise, opposition.

Next week's Spelling/Vocabulary word list for fourth and fifth grade is:

crowd, corn compare pond string, bell depend, meat, rub, tube, depending, and

rubbing.

4th and 5th grade have been making good progress in their Reading Fluency and Comprehension. Please be sure your child reads 30 minutes each day.
