PORTFOLIO NIGHT

ISAT testing will begin Wednesday, March 2. Fifth grade students are tested on their skills in Mathematics, Reading, and Writing. It is really important for all students to be well rested to do their best on these tests. We have talked about the importance of doing well and what to do to be best prepared.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

A special thanks goes out to the Valentine's Committee. Jackie, Eliza, Courtney, Larissa, Tiara, and Maria did an impresssive job of decorating the room.

No School on Monday in honor of Presidents' Day.

There will be a Social Studies test on Friday over chapters 14-15. Besides reviewing these chapters, students should also review over their packet of notes and previous assignments.

VALENTINE’S DAY
We will have our Valentine’s Day celebration next Friday. We will not have an actual classroom party but the PTA has arranged to have a DJ come in and run a dance for student who would like to attend. Your child received a list this week if he/she would like to hand out Valentines. While I do not require this, the only thing I ask is that if your child does Valentines, he/she makes one for everyone in the class.
