New to Lincolnwood

My name is Brandon Koenig and I am the new Health and Physical Education teacher bouncing from Rutledge to Todd Hall and back. My wife and I recently moved to Chicago from Columbus, Ohio (home of the Buckeyes) and we are excited for a new journey!
I hope you have all had a great summer and are ready for an exciting new year!

This Week at Todd and Rutledge Hall
Submitted by Mr Koenig on Thu, 2008-09-11 14:15.This week has been fun and exciting. Â The fourth graders have been working hard on their soccer skills, practicing dribbling, passing, punting and more. Â Next week we will start playing some games!
The second graders have also been playing soccer. Â This week, they worked on dribbling and also got to play a game or two of line soccer.
 The kindergarteners have been working hard while running around the track and playing different relay games.  They have also spent time playing spatial games so they can make good use of their personal space.
 This week has gone great.  We are hoping for more great weather next week!Â
First Week at Rutledge
Submitted by Mr Koenig on Tue, 2008-09-02 11:46.The first week of school went great! Â This weekend I spent time in Columbus watching the Buckeyes win their football game! Â
In the second week of school, we will be playing soccer at Rutledge Hall. Â Hopefully we will be able to spend a good amount of time outside, assuming Hurricane Gustav doesn't make it's way too far north.
