Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year!!
Submitted by Mrs Kalter on Wed, 2008-09-17 13:37.This August I began my 20th year here at Rutledge Hall teaching English Language Learniers. When I think back to 20 years ago, not only was I much younger, single and kidless, but my job was very different than what it is today.
I began as a half time teacher here and I had 7 students to service each week! Now I am 1 of 3 full time teachers. In addition, we are lucky enough to have a half time teacher, as well as, a full time assistant. The ELL staff services 104 students per week. We work closely with classroom teachers to meet each individual student's needs.
As the year begins, I am looking forward to working with your children and really watching them succeed. Please call me with questions about our program anytime!
